Review: Rio Professional Nail Art Pens; First look (Pic Heavy)

Hi ladies! I have something a little different for you today in the form of a product review! *cheers*
I was contacted a couple days ago by a lady at Rio Beauty asking if I would like to review some of their Nail Art Pens and as you know, I've started to dip my toes in the Nail Art world recently, so I kindly accepted.
Before I get started with the review, I thought I would give you a little insight to who Rio Beauty are.

"Rio is fast becoming one of the most popular brands offering salon treatments, technology and techniques for everyone to use and enjoy in their home. Saving money and time is always helpful, choosing when it suits you may be equally important.
With many treatments we provide step by step instructional DVDs containing helpful tips and advice directly from our salon trained beauticians. All this helps ensure you get the best and most professional results every time. "

I've had a little fiddle around with these and I can tell you I am pretty impressed so far. The polish consistency is smooth and not gloopy, which I have found with some of the cheaper art pens you can get from eBay. The polish doesn't cling on to the striping brush, meaning you're able to get thinner, more precise lines and the detail pen nib doesn't bubble out after using it (a few of the pens I purchased from eBay tend to carry on pumping out polish even after use). I took a few photos of the products you get in each box and have added a little description of what each thing is, to see that click the jump link!

Inside The Box
Once you've opened the box, you're presented with the above items, here we have the 8 Nail Art Pens (mine are in the Pastel range, you can also get them in Original, Metallic and Neon or a set of 6 called World Flags), A small bag with Rhinestones, A small tube of Glitter, A brush and also a fold-out sheet with Nail Art designs on both sides, A DVD, User Guide and a pamphlet.

Overall I'm very impressed with the Rio Nail Art Pens, not only do you get good quality pens, you also get a lot of extras thrown in with them. I think the DVD is the best part of the box (other than the pens, of course) and it's going to be really helpful for when I start my course at college! Educational and Practical.

Rio Professional Nail Art Pens are available on their website and are priced at £24.99 for either their set of 8 Metallic, Original, Neon or Pastel sets or £19.99 for their set of 6 World Flags set. Also, if you order now, they currently have a 10% off offer on your order when you sign up as a new customer! Just enter 10% OFF at the checkout for that to be applied! (Valid until 30th June 2012). Unfortunately Rio Beauty only ships to the UK and Europe at this time, but good news to those in the UK - It's free delivery if you spend over £50!
